Registered Nurse -Full time (3pm 11:30pm) SIGN-ON BONUS
About The Position
Hartgrove Hospital is looking for dynamic Registered Nurses to join their team. This is a full-time position for the PM shift (3pm - 11:30pm) and includes a sign-on bonus. New graduates are welcome. Hartgrove Behavioral Health System is a 160-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for its diverse population of children, adolescents and adults. It is the flagship behavioral health facility within Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility offering advanced technologies and programs in the behavioral health field, with a focus on teamwork, compassion, and a holistic treatment approach. Hartgrove is Joint Commission approved and state licensed, focusing on short-term crisis stabilization programs. They offer accredited educational programs, comprehensive Activity Therapy, Pet Assisted Therapy, Art Therapy, Horticultural Therapy, and Dance Movement therapy.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Hartgrove Hospital.
- Prescribes, coordinates, and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process, integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
- Is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis.
- Responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
- Authorized to initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation.
