About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), the RN provides patient education and activities consistent with their competencies and education. The role calls for strong communication and critical-thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes. This part-time position is scheduled every Monday and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The position is available only to people residing in the United States.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Maintain current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
Obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with assessing and planning individual treatment programs in consultation with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as needed.
Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
Count controlled substances and perform clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting as required by policy.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, or other staff as necessary.
