Branson Med 100 Registered Nurse - Full Time
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in Med 100, a 21-bed medical unit caring for patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, dialysis needs, wounds, and hospice needs. Because patients often have longer stays, the unit offers opportunities to build relationships with patients. The nurse manages care for patients experiencing medical conditions or undergoing surgical procedures, assessing their condition, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, maintaining records, and supporting and educating patients and families. The role requires broad medical-care knowledge to serve a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN-approved program.
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective leadership abilities.
- Time-management skills.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Previous nursing experience.
Responsibilities
