About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate, experienced nurses to join their team at Jay Hospital ED. Jay Hospital is a rural critical access hospital with an 11-bed Emergency Department serving infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The department recently opened a new space for its SANE program and has exceeded patient satisfaction goals. The team is expanding with additional advanced practice providers and nurses, and there is a strong emphasis on professional development, with team members presenting at national conferences. Indiana University Health has recently been recognized as a Pathway to Excellence Designed Hospital.

Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
