Post Surgical Acute Care RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
About The Position
MercyOne Northeast Iowa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its 23-bed acute care unit, providing care to post-surgical and general medical patients. The role focuses on pain management, holistic care, and strong patient and family involvement. Nurses work in a supportive, collaborative environment and provide personalized care throughout the patient’s stay. The position is a 0.9 FTE role with 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. and a rotation every third weekend. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; supervises and coordinates care delivered by LPNs and PCAs; and communicates with physicians, families, and team members to support comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license.
