About The Position

Redeemer Health Care Center, a 5-star Cassia senior community, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administering medications, and collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. The position is part-time, with available shifts for evenings (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM).

Requirements

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certified preferred or willing to get
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
