About The Position
Avalon Care Center Tacoma is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to provide resident-centered nursing care. The position offers a day schedule from Sunday through Tuesday with 12-hour shifts. New nurses are welcome to apply. Pay is $49.00–$56.29 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills. A night shift differential of $2.00 per hour applies from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Washington State or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a care team.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.
- Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor resident health and clinical outcomes.
- Lead and support CNAs and nursing team members.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.
