About The Position
Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit. The role provides care for patients with a variety of needs, conditions, and diagnoses, presenting new challenges each day. The nurse works with a supportive leadership team and Nursing Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, Intensivists, and Nurse Practitioners during shifts. Requirements
- At least 1 year of applicable experience.
- Associate degree.
- Registered Nurse credential.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Function independently and remain accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinate care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegate tasks appropriately.
- Identify hospital resources.
- Serve as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrate positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.
