About The Position

Stillwater Hospice is hiring a part-time/PRN Registered Nurse in Missoula, Montana, reporting to the Director of Clinical Services. The RN supports hospice patients and families during after-hours coverage, responding to calls with triage and guidance and making occasional in-person visits when urgent support is needed. The position works within an interdisciplinary team that shares responsibilities around the clock, including chaplains, social workers, and volunteers. The stated wage is $37–$43 per hour while driving and while making scheduled or on-call visits.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Montana.
• Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and compassionately.
• Strong teamwork mentality and comfort working in a connected, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours calls and provide triage and guidance.
• Make occasional in-person visits when patients need urgent support.
