This position is for a Split Night Nurse for the General Adult Unit and Comm. Reintegration Unit. Utilizing the nursing process, the nurse is responsible for providing for immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients within the standards of the department, hospital, and regulatory agencies. The adult inpatient unit (NB1) is a generalized inpatient psychiatric unit with a primary focus on the treatment of depression and anxiety. We also care for patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including OCD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, self-harming behaviors, homicidally, and co-occurring substance use disorders. Our team provides patient-centered care through therapeutic engagement, medication management, and behavioral interventions in a supportive, team-based environment.
