Registered Nurse - ICU
About The Position
Travel ICU Registered Nurse position in a short-term acute care hospital. The nurse may float between units and should be prepared to work with an expected patient ratio of 1:2. Weekend work is required for six weekend shifts to meet unit needs. Block scheduling is not required, and on-call work is not required. The hospital is a 379-staffed-bed Level II Trauma Center. Licensed nursing personnel are required to wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping, but print tops are not permitted except in the specified pediatric and Women's Services areas.
Requirements
- ICU registered nurse experience.
- Experience with cardiovascular surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVLs), external ventricular drains (EVDs), neurosurgery, and laboratory interpretation.
- Wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping, but print tops are not permitted except in the specified units.
Responsibilities
