About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time RN to join our highly committed and dynamic Emergency Services team. As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patient acuities. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Emergency Services is a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral Health rooms. The department serves every patient population from infancy to the elderly and offers 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. It is also a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. Emergency Services is a 2023 Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award recipient, recognized for excellence.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing
  • An active Wisconsin or multi-state RN license upon start
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior acute RN experience preferred
