About The Position

The Registered Nurse is a key member of the patient care team, delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across assigned areas. The RN assesses patients upon admission and gathers pertinent medical history, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests. Under the supervision of a Physician, the RN collaborates in developing and implementing a comprehensive care plan.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN License or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• CPI certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.
• Certification in specialty areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard patient assessments using basic medical equipment.
• Administer medications safely using visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
• Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Meet and adhere to established safety standards relevant to the position.
• Interact positively with team members and patients.
• Respect patients’ culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care.
• Accept constructive criticism and manage emotional reactions in a positive manner.
• Provide holiday coverage.
