About The Position

This is a weekends-only Registered Nurse position focused on providing comprehensive care for residents in a nursing home setting. The role involves overseeing care plans, assessing health status, administering medications, supervising nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing education to residents and families.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive care plans for residents, ensuring high-quality treatment.
• Regularly assess residents' health status, monitor changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Lead and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care standards.
• Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of care, medications, and residents' conditions.
• Provide guidance and health education to residents and their families.
