About The Position

Jefferson Health is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during a specified time period and complete all required documentation. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a day/night rotation. The position is based at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• State-issued RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
• Labor and delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Administer medications safely and assess patients’ responses to medication.
• Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
• Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period.
• Complete all required documentation.
