PRN RN, Registered Nurse, Detox Outpatient
About The Position
Leora is currently recruiting a PRN Registered Nurse for our Dayton location, a Premier Outpatient facility in Dayton, OH. As a Nurse at Leora you will have the opportunity to provide withdrawal management for clients who are presenting with substance use withdrawal symptoms and provide nursing assessments and nursing education for clients struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. You will work Monday-Friday, Day Shift, 8 Hour Days and engage with a multidisciplinary team. Leora’s Mission is to provide an intensive and immersive journey for sustained recovery and mental health delivered in an outpatient setting and offering a full array of treatment options. At Leora, our goal is to reignite the inner light of hope and happiness for individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental illness.
Requirements
- current RN licensure
- At least two-years previous experience in a Behavioral Health setting.
- At least one-year previous experience in withdrawal management/detox.
- Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders
Responsibilities
- Provide withdrawal management for clients who are presenting with substance use withdrawal symptoms
- Provide nursing assessments and nursing education for clients struggling with substance use and mental health disorders
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team
