About The Position

Sentara is currently hiring an RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Cardiac Unit 2 West. This is a full-time position working 12-hour dayshift, 36 hours per week, every weekend. The Cardiac Unit 2 West is a 34-bed medicine unit with a primary cardiac focus, caring for patients with congestive heart failure, angina, STEMI/NSTEMI, and arrhythmia. The team also admits patients who have undergone cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and cardioversions. The unit boasts an amazing and diverse team committed to excellent patient care and satisfaction, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and supporting each other. The primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care responsibility. Requirements

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school
