About The Position

The Maples is seeking a committed and skilled Registered Nurse in Crowley, Texas. The role works from 7 pm to 7 am and focuses on helping teenage girls who are struggling with mental health challenges, including trauma, disordered eating, and/or substance abuse. The nurse functions as the Charge RN for the assigned shift, delivering and supervising nursing care and the clinical program in accordance with ANA standards. The position works with a multidisciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate, document, and provide patient care.

Requirements

Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
Basic Life Support certification.
Certification in non-violent crisis intervention.
LPN certification from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

Function as Charge RN for the assigned shift, providing the nursing care delivery system and supervising the clinical program while ensuring care reflects ANA standards.
Participate in planning, coordinating, and documenting total patient care with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Accurately report and record patient condition and care, including signs and symptoms that may indicate a change.
Prepare daily clinical/progress notes, incorporate them into the clinical record weekly, and document monthly recertifications and Master Treatment Plan Updates with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Assist patients with activities of daily living and teach appropriate self-care techniques.
Educate and supervise other healthcare personnel to provide continuity of care.
Initiate and sustain implementation of all physician orders.
Complete, maintain, and submit accurate and relevant clinical notes.
Participate in case conferences, in-services, and other programs and meetings as needed.
