About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will primarily work on the Observation Unit but may also be required to float to other Medical-Surgical units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and potentially the Emergency Department if appropriately skilled. This position involves a commitment of 36 hours per week on the day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required. Please note that taking call is a rare occurrence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry/Medical-Surgical nursing
• Proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Epic proficiency must be documented

Responsibilities

• Primarily work on the Observation Unit.
• Float to other Medical-Surgical units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and potentially the Emergency Department if appropriately skilled.
• Demonstrate the ability to read Telemetry and BCRA.
