Ohio - Emergency Department RN - Night Shift 7p to 7A - Zanesville
About The Position
The Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays, and is one of the top 10 busiest Emergency Departments in the region. This position requires a commitment to a 36-hour work week with shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation, as extensive requests for time off during holidays will not be approved. Applicants must have completed at least three assignments in the Emergency Department or possess three years of current and relevant ED experience. Proficiency with the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is essential, and candidates without this experience will not be considered. Holiday coverage is required. Taking call may be occasionally necessary but should be rare.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Proficiency with the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Nice To Haves
- Trauma and emergency nursing certifications such as TNCC and ENPC.
