About The Position

As a nurse in our 32-bed surgical telemetry unit, you will be focused on providing high quality, patient and family centered care. Our primary population includes patients who require cardiothoracic surgery (post-CABG, valve replacement, pulmonary surgery), vascular surgery (lower limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, amputation), and urology (prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, continuous bladder irrigation). In our single patient rooms, we care for a diverse range of surgical and medical services requiring a progressive level of care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, or urology is beneficial for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality, patient and family centered care on a 32-bed surgical telemetry unit.
• Caring for patients requiring cardiothoracic surgery (post-CABG, valve replacement, pulmonary surgery).
• Caring for patients requiring vascular surgery (lower limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, amputation).
• Caring for patients requiring urology procedures (prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, continuous bladder irrigation).
• Providing care in single patient rooms for a diverse range of surgical and medical services requiring a progressive level of care.
