About The Position

Provides professional nursing care for office patients following established standards and procedures. The position requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, a current Alabama State Registered Nurses License, and current CPR certification. ACLS certification is preferred. The role calls for knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to provide and evaluate patient care, along with strong communication, recordkeeping, problem-solving, confidentiality, and workplace safety skills.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Alabama State Registered Nurses License.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
Skill in writing and maintaining records and reports.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, families, physicians, employees, and staff.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures.
Effective work habits, including regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability, and promptness.

Nice To Haves
