About The Position

Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse coordinates and provides patient care and is individually responsible and accountable for nursing care. The role involves assessing and prioritizing patient needs, managing time effectively, paying close attention to detail, working independently, and collaborating with others. Clinical activities include patient assessment and documentation; IV infusions of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies; IM and SC injections; central line access and dressing changes; therapeutic phlebotomies; patient education and triage; and coordination of care through a multidisciplinary approach.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Three years of nursing experience in a clinic.
• Ability to work with multiple physicians.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• ONS/OCN certification is highly preferred.
• Oncology nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient care.
