Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment, long-term patient relationships, and the opportunity to apply broad nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The nurse may need to float to nearby clinics, and the schedule is flexible, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training may take place at a clinic other than the nurse’s home location.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
