About The Position
UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for 5 Ridgeway Psychiatry Unit at UC Medical Center. This is a 20-bed unit that provides inpatient psych treatment for adult's patients 18 years and older. Become part of the only Psychiatric Unit in Southwest Ohio where you can gain exposure to a variety of diagnosis in behavioral health. You will also have the opportunity to see things you won’t see anywhere else and the chance to treat patients that other institutions don’t accept.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- CN 1 nurse level
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a psychiatric unit.
- Experience with psych emergency services.
Responsibilities
- Provides inpatient psych treatment for adult patients 18 years and older.
- Gains exposure to a variety of diagnoses in behavioral health.
- Treats patients that other institutions may not accept.
- Participates in unit projects as part of the clinical ladder program for advancement.
