About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) for the Gastrointestinal 8 East unit at UC Medical Center will support the Medical Center's medicine and Level 1 Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care, and according to policy and procedures. This 16-bed unit has patient-to-nurse ratios ranging from 4 to 6. The nurse will help manage liver patients (pre and post-transplant), cystic fibrosis patients, many off-service patients, and some behavioral health components with medical needs. UC Health is Greater Cincinnati’s academic health system, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center has served the region for nearly 200 years, providing specialty and subspecialty medical care, conducting research, and housing Greater Cincinnati’s only Level I adult trauma center.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) qualification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
