About The Position
This position is for a night shift Rehab Nurse on the Maple Unit at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team on an 11-bed unit, providing care and treatment to brain injury patients. The position offers opportunities for career development through tuition reimbursement, certifications, advanced nursing degrees, and involvement in hospital and system-wide committees, unit councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- 1 year of recent Acute Care Nurse experience.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Nice To Haves
- Rehab Nurse experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the 11-bed unit.
- Provide care and treatment to brain injury patient population.
- Participate in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects.
- Precept new staff.
- Pursue the Clinical Ladder program.
