Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, MSN)
- Previous clinical experience in an acute care or specialty setting preferred.
- Current South Carolina RN license.
- BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (Must be issued by the American Heart Association).
- Specialty certifications as applicable are required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection prevention standards.
