About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing urologic procedures. The RN is also responsible for pre-procedure, intra procedure, and post procedure assessments.

Requirements

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
• Current MS state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Completion of Moderate Sedation course
• IV certification
• Proficiency at patient assessment
• Proficiency at vital sign monitoring
• Proficiency at IV insertions
• Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
• Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
• Dependability, punctuality, and high attention to detail
• Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate documentation skills
• Knowledge of ASC procedures, infection control practices and emergency response protocols

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience
• Prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas
