About The Position

Monument Health is seeking passionate and professional Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their Plastic Surgery team in Rapid City, SD. As an RN at Monument Health, you will be a valued team member providing compassionate, patient-focused care. The role involves facilitating relationship-centered care, participating in the prevention and resolution of illness, and advocating for patients within interdisciplinary teams. Requirements

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 60 days of hire or transfer
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department.

Responsibilities

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the Healthcare consumer’s health and/or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or the issues.
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the Healthcare consumer of the situation.
Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the identified plan.
Ensures patient progression along plan.
Coordinates care delivery.
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Provides consultation to influence the identified plan, enhance the abilities of others and effect change.
Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
