About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery clinic. This role focuses on care coordination, patient communication via phone triage or MyChart, patient education, and supporting providers. You will assist with various clinic procedures and contribute to restoring function and enhancing patient well-being through treatments for a wide range of conditions including brachial plexus, cancers, carpal tunnel syndrome, congenital anomalies, gender affirmation, migraines, nerve repair, trauma injuries, and Mohs procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduate of school of nursing
  • 6 months of RN experience
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Relevant RN experience
  • Applicable clinical certification

Responsibilities

  • Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family and/or other care providers such as OT, ortho, burn and wound.
  • Communicate with patients via phone triage or MyChart, provide patient education and support providers within the ambulatory setting.
  • Assist with clinic procedures such as excisions, drain/suture removal, dressing changes, and/or breast expansion.
  • Join a specialized team providing all types of plastic and reconstructive procedures to restore function and assist patients to feel their best. Conditions treated may include: brachial plexus, cancers (breast, gynecologic, skin, etc.), carpal tunnel syndrome, congenital anomalies, gender affirmation, migraines, nerve repair, trauma injuries, and Mohs.
