About The Position

Part-Time Private Duty Skilled Homecare Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a client in Carson City, Nevada. This position offers competitive pay starting at $75/hour and guarantees two overnight shifts per week: Sunday from 10 pm to Monday at 9:30 am, and Monday from 10 pm to Tuesday at 9:30 am. There is potential for additional shifts as needed. The role involves providing skilled nursing care in a one-on-one setting.

Requirements

• Licensed RN in the state of Nevada
• Current CPR/first aid certification
• Prior tracheostomy and ventilator experience
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Head-to-toe assessments and monitoring of clinical status
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Ventilator management
• Administration of feeding with monitoring for aspiration
• Administration of medications, per MD order
• Assistance with transfers and repositioning
• Assistance with personal care
• Bowel and bladder management
• Wound care
• Blood glucose monitoring
• Assistance with communication device(s)
