About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you provide patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), you provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. The role requires strong communication and critical-thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes. The organization provides ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, along with clinical resources for training, education, and point-of-care support. The position is available only to people who reside in the United States.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
Be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
Must reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary.
Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting as required by policy.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, or other staff as necessary.
Provide patient education and activities in accordance with competencies and education.
