About The Position

Life Care Center of Stonegate, opened in 2012, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join their team. This facility is located less than 5 miles from Sky Ridge Medical Center and Parker Adventist Hospital, and provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and post-operative recovery services. The facility is recognized by US News & World Report as one of the Best Nursing Homes for 2026 for both short-term rehab and long-term care, and holds a 5-star CMS rating for Quality Measures. Life Care Center of Stonegate is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a healthcare industry leader with over 200 locations. The Registered Nurse will be an important member of the interdisciplinary team, delivering quality nursing care to patients to help them achieve their highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. This role involves evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revising care plans as needed, as well as providing clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

  • Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
  • Currently licensed/registered in applicable State.
  • Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
  • CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
  • Provide care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
  • Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
  • Revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
  • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
