About The Position

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to add to our growing team. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through. Is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties. The Registered Nurse provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Associates degree in nursing required
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required
  • CPR certification (training provided)
  • Handle With Care (HWC) certification (training provided)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred
  • One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred
