Registered Nurse - Pediatric Unit - Evening and Night Shifts
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care; guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; and collaborates with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. The nurse also contributes to safety outcomes and promotes a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time position in Evanston, Illinois, scheduled for 36 hours per week. Available hours are 1500–2330 and 1900–0730, with weekend rotation. The position may float when needed. The hourly pay range is $37.25–$57.74, with the rate offered determined by factors including expertise and years of experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- One year of acute care nursing experience or one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
- Inpatient pediatric experience.
