About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Atrium Health Lake Norman. The PCU is a 13-bed unit co-located with an 8-bed ICU, offering a collaborative and dynamic environment. This low-to-moderate acuity PCU specializes in caring for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of PCU experience preferred
