Registered Nurse - The Retreat
About The Position

Multiple Shifts Available: We have a Part Time Day Shift Schedule of 12 hour shifts (6-6) available for a nurse seeking a career. The purpose of the Nurse position is to serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary care team facilitating quality care, guided by residents’ individualized service plans, Facility policies and procedures, and State and Federal guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse / RN in the State of Montana
- One (1) year experience as a nurse
- Be familiar with or be willing to learn about State and Federal guidelines pertaining to long-term care
- Maintain a current comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice
- Completion of 24 continuing education credits in 2-year period of licensure, as required by the State of Montana
Responsibilities
- Follow physicians’ orders, treatments, and resident service plan approaches.
- Carry out duties assigned by the Director of Nursing &/or Unit Resident Care Manager
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Complete medical and behavioral observations as required.
- Work and coordinate with all team members to meet resident’s needs.
- Assist other staff assisting residents, as needed.
- Work independently, while prioritizing duties and responsibilities, taking on additional assignments, maintaining accuracy and timeliness with documentation, and demonstrating the ability to problem solve.
- Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
