About The Position
High Plains Senior Care Home Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating nursing care. The Registered Nurse will also be responsible for educating patients and their families on healthcare practices and disease prevention, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home health or hospice care preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Provide education to patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
