About The Position

High Plains Senior Care is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes in Amarillo, TX. This role involves assisting the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

Home Health - Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification/license
Experience in providing physical therapy services in a home health setting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes.
Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and other aspects of their care.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
Other duties as assigned.
