About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This position offers up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualifying candidates. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with required call and late shifts (6:00 pm). New graduate RNs are welcome to apply and will participate in an 11-week Transition to Practice program, which is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support their transition to practice. Experienced nurses moving into this specialty are also welcomed.

Requirements

Registered nursing License (Required)
Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
BLS required within 90 days of hire
Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
None required experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the Operating Room.
Participate in call and late shifts.
Support patient care within a hospital setting.
