About The Position

The Registered Nurse on the 4th Floor Telemetry provides direct, comprehensive nursing care from patient admission through discharge. The nurse reviews and documents care provided, patient outcomes, and evaluations of care, while following professional standards. The role applies evidence, professional standards, and best practices to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. The nurse prioritizes care according to changing assessments and patient needs.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Obtain Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience in the specialty.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
