About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse to provide expert, patient-centered care in Centre, Alabama. The role serves Cherokee and Calhoun counties and offers a PRN schedule with flexible scheduling options. Home Health RNs provide one-to-one care, work independently with team support, and help patients and families in the comfort of home. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation as required by the local branch.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted nursing registration and license in the state of practice and state of residence.
• At least one year of nursing practice in a patient care setting.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance in accordance with Adoration policy.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home health, geriatrics, or another related setting is preferred.
• New nursing graduates may be considered in select markets, depending on program availability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Create home health care plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals.
• Direct nursing care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support patients’ families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in the local branch’s on-call rotation as required.
