About The Position

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency and mastery of core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. This role delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service.

Requirements

• Minimum Required Experience: 2 years.
• ASN, Licensed Registered Nurse eligible to practice in FL
• Have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.
• Candidate can select to commit to a 12-week, 16-week, 18-week, or 24 week contract in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool, which is a temporary nursing position.
• Candidate must commit to the following requirements for the position: Float to all areas within the hospital as needed or assigned
• Candidate must commit to the following requirements for the position: Work any three twelve hour shifts per week and every other weekend during the Agreement period for a total of 36 hours per week.
