Registered Nurse (RN) - SMP Health
About The Position
SMP Health is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to work at St. Catherine North or St. Catherine South in Fargo, North Dakota. The role provides clinical leadership, coordinates resident care, and supports positive outcomes in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. RNs use their nursing expertise to support residents’ health, safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with day, evening, and night shifts and an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation. Pay is $38.00–$42.00 per hour, with shift differentials of $3.00 per hour for PM shifts and $4.00 per hour for NOC shifts.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lead and support a care team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct resident assessments and update care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Provide wound care and other skilled nursing interventions.
- Educate residents and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
