About The Position
This role specializes in assessing, treating, and educating patients with complex wounds, such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and skin tears. The nurse will develop personalized care plans, clean wounds, apply appropriate dressings, monitor healing progress, and provide patient education on wound care management to promote optimal healing and prevent complications. This position often involves close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut
- BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- Experience in Acute care
- Experience in Medical-Surgical
