About The Position

St. Anthony North Hospital, serving the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn, and Thornton for over 50 years, is a healthcare facility with integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, a birthing center with private suites, a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center. The hospital achieved Magnet designation in 2023. The facility emphasizes convenience, wellness, and person-centered care, offering inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on preventive health and education. Beginning October 2025, the labor and delivery unit will expand to include a 15-bed labor deck, an 18-bed postpartum unit, and a 7-9 bed Level II NICU caring for infants 32 weeks and above (occasionally down to 30 weeks). The unit is equipped with 3 triage beds and 2 OR suites, handling approximately 100 deliveries per month and anticipating growth with the addition of Kaiser. The dynamic unit offers continuing education, role expansion, and flexible self-scheduling. They seek confident, adaptable nurses with a strong work ethic and positive attitude, who are proactive patient advocates. Nurses are integral to the organization, working in a supportive team environment with resources for growth and leaders who support success. The role involves advancing modern nursing through compassionate care within a faith-based, mission-driven culture.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
  • One year RN L&D experience preferred
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a compact state
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
