About The Position

This role involves leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every action aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational excellence. The nurse will coordinate a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure patient care is seamless, holistic, and focused on the best possible clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting patient conditions in real-time, acting as the vital link between the patient and the medical team through proactive communication and precise documentation. The role also involves advocating for the patient’s journey by initiating and managing comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a safe and successful transition from hospital to home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
  • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy ofPediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
