About The Position

As an RN in our dedicated IV Therapy Unit, you’ll play a critical role in providing safe, efficient, and child-centered intravenous access and infusion services. Our team supports patients from neonatal to adolescent age groups, including those in critical care, oncology, surgical recovery, and general pediatrics. As an RN in our specialized IV Therapy Unit at Primary Children’s Hospital, you’ll deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate vascular access and infusion care to pediatric patients. Serving neonates through adolescents, our team partners across critical care, oncology, surgical recovery, and general pediatrics to ensure high‑quality, child‑ and family‑centered care in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment. Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
