About The Position

The Unit Manager is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. This role involves assessing needs, implementing care using the latest technology, and collaborating with a strong interdisciplinary team. The position offers a starting salary between $86,000 and $90,000 per year, with yearly increases and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
At least 2 years of related experience.
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan.
Current CPR-BLS certification.
High level of analytical abilities for personalized care plans, effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and problem-solving.
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!

Responsibilities

Supervise the nursing team, including giving direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
Ensure the completion of requested reports, such as infection control, pharmacy compliance, and quality management.
Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
Promote a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.
